Below is a checklist for what you will need to complete in our first week of remote learning! Remember, all items can be found and submitted on Google Classroom.
Hello Everyone and Happy April! Please watch the below video that shows you how to access our remote learning sites! A few notes, I made this video on Monday. On Tuesday, the county announced the addition of live classes. My class will still be set up the same way in terms of work process, etc, however I will also be hosing the live classes during the designated times that were sent out in the message from Mr. Mares. If you didn't see it, here it is: First Period: Monday & Wednesday @8:30 a.m. Second Period: Monday & Wednesday @10:00 a.m. Fourth Period: Tuesday & Thursday @ 10: a.m. Check your Google Classroom page for the meeting links! Second note, in the video I say that each week there will be three components in your lesson: Notes, Informational Text APES Practice, Short Story & Discussion Board. This is true for the first week, however, some weeks, there may be two short stories and/or there may be an activity in lieu of a discussion board. I will make all of this clear at the beginning of the week on the work checklist the I place on my website. Also, if you have questions...just ask! I'm here to help you :). I know things might not be totally perfect as we make this transition into remote learning, but ask questions, communicate if/when you are unsure or confused, and we will do this together!! Ok...enough yammering...please watch the video sometime before we start our remote learning on April 13! |
